Junior and senior members are invited to attend this day of free activities, family fun and great food. Bring your family and friends too. Everybody is welcome to come and see what the Newtown Hockey Club can offer.

Games to Play
From races, games, fun activities for the kids and food too, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Jumping Castle will be a hit with the kids, but the bigger kids can hop on this one too, so don’t be shy. Great fun for big and little kids! And the Face Painter is likely to be busy again – always popular at the Season Launch!
We have races and hockey games to play, with ‘Beat the Keeper’ always a challenge. Adults and children alike can try their hand at some games of skill, and the ‘Parents vs Kids’ hockey games are always popular.
Get a taste of the delicious treats from the BBQ, canteen and cake stall. And there are prizes to win in the Raffle and at the Trivia Quiz.

KLR Cup Match
The highlight of the Season Launch will round off the day! The annual KLR Cup match between the Young Guns and the Legends of the Club.
Who will be selected in the Young Guns team this year? Which Legends will take to the field again one more time!
2024 will again see an intense but friendly rivalry to see who will take home the KLR Cup this year – the Young Guns or the Legends? The KLR Cup matches are always a great event for the spectators and a fantastic display of ‘skill and speed’ vs ‘skill and hockey smarts’.
