Behaviour and Codes of Conduct

All members of the Newtown City Hockey Club are expected to abide by the policies and behaviour standards which are set out in the Hockey Australia Member Protection Policy.

Child Safe Standards

Newtown City Hockey Club is committed to being a safe place for all people to engage with us, including children, young people and adults. The child-safe-code-of-conduct was adopted by the Club on March 15, 2017. This Code of Conduct provides guidelines for all club members, coaches, managers and officials to follow when interacting with any person under the age of 18. It is the responsibility of every member of the Club to ensure that these guidelines are followed, and to report any concerns promptly.
