July 26 was the date for our Christmas celebration – a great idea as we are not here to celebrate Christmas together when it actually is Christmas.
A good crowd of members gathered at the Pavilion at Lloyd Reserve made for a warm and cosy evening. The evening featured all the usual Christmas trimmings – Santa, Christmas tinsel, Bonbons and paper hats, presents for the children. And of course lots of delicious food so we could eat our fill – roast meat and vegetables, Plum Pudding and custard, pavlova, the odd glass of wine. Good conversation and friends to share it with – and room for the kids to run around outside.
