Junior Hockey Teams Presentations
The last day of the Junior hockey season for the Joeys, Minkey and Under 11 teams finished with a Lightning Carnival for the Minkey teams. 5 matches played during the morning saw some very tired players at the end of the last game.
The last matches for the U11 teams were followed by a BBQ lunch and trophy presentations, with over 150 people in attendance – players, brothers and sisters, mums and dads, and grandparents too. The weather gods smiled on us, and cast a sunny glow over all the faces – or maybe that was the medals and team photos.
Congratulations to players who received games badges to recognise their achievement of having played 25 junior games for the Club:
Angus Ayerbe, Imogen Clarke, Olivia Clarke, Mia Eastman, Ely Humphrey, Max Humphrey, Sam Robson, Sam Williamson.
Great work by Kasey Hamill-Dean who has played 75 junior games for the Club.
2014 has been a fantastic year for these junior players, with many great performances and great improvement in skills and team play during the year. Congratulations to all players on their effort and achievement, and well done to the trophy winners for 2014.
