Have Some Fun With Hockey

Hockey is a game which men, women, boys and girls can play. A Come and Try Hockey program is a great way for children to find out about hockey and see what fun it is. The Come and Try program gives boys and girls aged 5 to 12 the opportunity to learn the basic skills, develop fundamental motor skills and make friends while beginning a lifelong love of hockey.

Come along to this program, with no commitment to continue – unless you really enjoy it. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t played hockey before because the program is aimed at beginners. We are happy to teach you some skills and show you what it’s all about.

Costs and equipment

A Come and Try Hockey program allows children to see if this is a sport they might like to continue playing, without any expensive initial outlay.  The program is free, with all equipment provided for use during the sessions.

Extra precautions will be taken to comply with health guidelines in the COVID-19 situation.

COVID-19 precautions

Staying healthy at hockey

At the conclusion of the program, we can offer you a range of ways to participate if you would like to continue playing hockey – in both summer and winter seasons.

In order to assist with COVID-19 tracing in the event of a diagnosis, pre-registration is essential. If you wish to join the program, please register here.
